Role Description This full-time Physiotherapist role is an on-site position based in Gurgaon. The Physiotherapist will assess patients’ physical conditions, review medical histories, and develop evidence-based treatment plans for rehabilitation and pain management. Responsibilities include delivering therapy sessions, guiding patients through exercises and mobility training, using appropriate therapeutic modalities, and documenting progress and outcomes. The role involves collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, educating patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and preventive care, and maintaining high standards of patient safety and infection control. The Physiotherapist will also contribute to quality improvement initiatives and support HCAH’s commitment to holistic, patient-centered care.
Qualifications
- Professional physiotherapy qualifications: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physiotherapy (BPT/MPT) from a recognized institution; valid registration/licensure as per local regulatory requirements.
- Clinical skills in assessment and treatment: Strong competence in musculoskeletal, neurological, and cardiopulmonary rehabilitation; experience with stroke, spine, brain injuries, Parkinson’s, and geriatric care is highly beneficial.
- Therapeutic technique expertise: Proficiency in exercise therapy, manual therapy, gait training, balance and coordination training, and use of therapeutic modalities and equipment.
- Patient care and communication: Ability to build trust with patients and caregivers, deliver clear instructions, provide empathetic support, and adapt communication to different age groups and cultural backgrounds.
- Documentation and coordination: Skill in maintaining accurate clinical records, monitoring outcomes, and collaborating effectively with physicians, nurses, and other allied health professionals.
- Safety and quality focus: Knowledge of infection control practices, patient safety protocols, and commitment to evidence-based practice and continuous professional development.
- Additional beneficial experience: Prior work in rehabilitation centers, homecare, or assisted living settings; familiarity with digital health tools or electronic medical records; willingness to work shifts and weekends as required.
